Malaysia Airlines flight MH370: Reports
A Report is a formal document, concisely written following an investigation, research or project.
Initially, the Reports included or referenced in this website were limited to those published by official sources: the Government of Malaysia, the investigation by The Malaysian ICAO Annex 13 Safety Investigation Team for MH370, official reports relating to the search for MH370.
The scope was broadened by inclusion of information about Captain Zaharie Shah's personal flight simulator based on material sourced from the Royal Malaysia Police and unofficially released on the Internet.
And various scientists and subject-matter experts have produced their own reports, contributing to a deeper understanding of technical issues or refinements to a possible location of the wreckage. For copyright reasons not all reports can be included her, but links can be provided as appropriate.
The various types of report are listed below with a brief description. For access to each document (or extracts) follow the navigation menu on the left, or a contextually relevant navigation button on this page.

- Search Reports
- The search for MH370 moved to the southern Indian Ocean as a surface search, still hopeful of 'rescue', then an under-water search which, if wreckage was located, would be termed 'recovery'.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau documented this long process in the report The Operational Search for MH370. Decisions made, and actions taken, by the ATSB relied on technical advice which is documented in many shorter reports, most of which are listed in References. - Pages or articles which refer to this resource:-
